Interim President and CEO
Mr. Barker brings 20+ years experience working with rapidly growing technology companies to realize their strategic potential while providing executive leadership to all areas of the businesses. Mr. Barker has led international growth initiatives in the Energy, Agriculture, and Technology spaces and was a Partner for the Financial Advisory practice of the largest Professional Services company in the world.
Mr. Barker has served on a variety of Boards of Directors, holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, and is a CFA, CBV, and Six Sigma Blackbelt.
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Weiler brings over 15 years experience to her role as Chief Financial Offer of Cortex, having achieved her CGA designation in 1997. Her previous roles as a public accountant within the travel and retail industries, along with personal and corporate tax filings make her well suited to lead the Finance Team at Cortex.
As head of the Finance and Accounting team at Cortex, Sandra is directly responsible for leading those individuals that manage every aspect of Cortex's finances and ensures a stable financial state for the company and its investors.
In her free time, Sandra can be found at rinks throughout Western Canada in support of her daughter's ringette team.
VP Sales and Business Development
Mr. Rose brings over 20 years of Information Technology experience to Cortex of which 14 years has been focused around Accounts Payable and Procurement automation. Mike is focused on strategic partnership development, sales, strategy and business development.
Mike's experience includes senior positions with ADP, DO2 Technologies, and Quadrem with his most recent positions Vice President of Business Development at DO2 Technologies and Global Sales Manager at ADP. He has extensive experience growing and developing companies and has worked broadly across a number of verticals including Oil and Gas, Mining, Utilities, Natural Resources, Retail, Finance, and Manufacturing.
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Gate brings over 15 years of Operations, Customer Satisfaction, Marketing and Sales experience to the role of Vice President, Operations. He is highly knowledgeable on customer life-cycle management practices with expertise in streamlining process and performance for operational efficiency.
Darryl has been with Cortex since September 2012 charged with directing the Customer Provisioning, Training, Support and Satisfaction teams. Since joining Cortex he has also been the owner of the Portal line of business responsible for Portal development requirements, as well as driving customer adoption and engagement in the Cortex Trading Partner Network.
As head of the Operations for Cortex, Darryl is responsible for the complete post-sales delivery, enablement, provisioning, training, management and support of customers throughout their life-cycle.
