| Brian E. Frank Deputy COO, Global Oil & Head of Supply & Trading Global Oil Europe & Finance Integrated Supply & Trading, BP Oil International Limited, London, England. Brian E. Frank is the Deputy COO of Global Oil which is part of BP's global Integrated Supply and Trading business. He also has line responsibility for European Oil Supply and Trading as well as Finance. Mr. Frank assumed this role in early 2010 and is based in London, England. From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Frank was President of BP Energy Company and President of BP's North America Gas and Power business based in Houston, Texas, USA. He was also Regional Head in the Americas for BP's Integrated Supply and Trading presence and a member of the Board of Directors of BP America, Inc. BP Energy is a leading natural gas, power and NGL supply, marketing, trading and logistics company in North America. From 2003 to 2006, Mr. Frank held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer for BP Canada Energy Company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He has 28 years of broad energy industry experience, the past 15+ years with BP and its predecessor company in Canada (Amoco Canada). Before joining Amoco Canada in 1995, Mr. Frank held several senior positions with the Federal Department of Natural Resources Canada. He began his career in the energy sector in 1982 with NOVA Corporation (now part of TransCanada Pipeline Company). Mr. Frank holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Administration from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. | |
| Tim Stanley Tim Stanley is the President and Founder of Broadstreet Data -- one of Canada's premier Data Solution consulting companies located in Toronto. Prior to Broadstreet Data, Tim held senior sales positions with software companies Informatica and Brio Technology. From 1999-2008, Tim was involved in over 100 major Data Warehouse projects with many of Canada's largest companies. In his career, Tim has worked with hundreds of senior executives in Canada's IT industry as a business partner or supplier of enterprise software solutions. Tim is recognized as an industry expert in data integration, data quality, and business intelligence systems. Tim holds an MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and currently serves on the Board of Directors at Automated Benefits Corporation listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange (AUT). | |
| Michael Blum Mr. Blum is a co-founder of Hedgeye Risk Management, LLC. Hedgeye is a leading provider of real-time investment ideas, sector research and risk management. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of Hong Kong-based Repulse Bay Capital Ltd., a private investment vehicle. Prior to starting Hedgeye Risk Management, he was Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Falconhenge Partners, LLC. The firm was integrated into Magnetar Capital in April 2006, where Mr. Blum lead several international expansion efforts. Prior to working on Wall Street, Mr. Blum spent 7 years in Silicon Valley where he began his career at frog design, exploring opportunities for the firm in the venture capital arena. Later he joined PayPal, the world's leading electronic payment system, where he initially served as Country Manager, Germany and eventually oversaw the firm's business in Asia and the Pacific. PayPal sold to eBay for $1.5B in 2002. Born to German parents and a native of Hong Kong, Mr. Blum is an Astronaut-in-waiting with Virgin Galactic, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Studies (honors) from Yale University. | |
| Randy Henderson Randy Henderson CA CF ICD.D is a senior finance executive and corporate director who serves as a corporate financial advisor to the board of directors and executive management teams of both publicly-traded and private entities. He is the Chief Financial Officer and a director of Blackline GPS Corp (TSX-V: BLN) and a director of Paragon Pharmacies Ltd. (TSX-V: PGN). Previously, Mr. Henderson was Chief Financial Officer of several significant public and private entities, including CE Franklin Ltd., a publicly-traded international oilfield services distribution company; Emera Inc., a publicly-traded international energy and energy services company; and ENMAX Corporation, a privately-held integrated electric energy company. In 2003, he was nominated for Canada's CFO of the Year Award. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) and is an executive leadership program alumnus of the Stanford Business School of Stanford University. In 2008, he was awarded the Corporate Finance (CF) designation by the CICA. In 2009, he successfully completed the Directors Education Program offered by the Institute of Corporate Directors of Canada and was awarded its designation of ICD.D. | |
| John Hubinger John Hubinger became Vice President, Products, at Oracle Development when Oracle acquired AmberPoint in February 2010, where he was President, CEO, and Founder. In August of 2001, Mr. Hubinger assembled the founding team at AmberPoint. AmberPoint was the Leader in SOA and Distributed System Management and Governance. AmberPoint raised over $50m in Venture Capital and grew revenues from $3m to $20m in three years, showing excellent growth in the very competitive Infrastructure Enterprise Software Market. AmberPoint had OEM, reseller, and/or licensing deals with Microsoft, TIBCO, SAP, Oracle, and IBM. Prior to founding AmberPoint Mr. Hubinger was the Worldwide General Manager for a Division of Java Software at SUN Microsystems. SUN acquired Forte Software in 1999, where Mr. Hubinger was a Section 16 Public Officer and WW VP of Sales and Operations. Forte went public in 1996. Before joining Forte, Mr. Hubinger held Vice President and GM roles in Sales and Marketing in two successful software startups, Camenco (sold in a private-to-private transaction), and KnowledgeWare (which went public in 1989). Early in his career Mr. Hubinger worked at IBM as an Engineer, later moving into Sales and Marketing in the National Accounts Division. Prior to IBM he worked as an engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Mr. Hubinger published several software programs while at NASA and the UC Berkeley Laboratories. Mr. Hubinger holds a BA Degree in Economics, cum laude, from UC Berkeley. | |
| Rod Love Mr. Love began his career in government when he was appointed Executive Assistant to Mayor Ralph Klein following Mr. Klein's election as Calgary's 32nd Mayor on October 15, 1980. During his nine years at Calgary City Hall, Mr. Love sat as the Mayor's representative on the Board of Commissioners, an appointment which gave him a unique perspective on all aspects of municipal governance, including municipal law, finance, planning and development, urban transportation, environmental affairs and community relations. Mr. Love was directly involved in the planning and hosting of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games, and was subsequently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Calgary Winter Festival. In 1989, following Mr. Klein's election to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta and appointment as Minister of Environment, Mr. Love assumed the duties of Executive Assistant to the Minister. It was during this period that Mr. Klein guided the re-writing and consolidation of all environmental law in Alberta, resulting in the landmark Alberta Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act. Upon Mr. Klein's swearing-in as Alberta's 15th Premier in December of 1992, Mr. Love was appointed Chief of Staff to the Premier, a position he held until leaving government to start RLC Inc. in February of 1998. As Chief of Staff, Mr. Love was involved in all aspects of the restructuring and refocusing of the Government of Alberta that has led to the elimination of the deficit, the rapid elimination of Alberta's debt, the highest credit rating and the lowest personal and corporate income taxes in Canada. Mr. Love returned to the Office of the Premier as Chief of Staff for a nine month period following the November 2004 provincial general election to lead a significant re-engineering of the Government of Alberta's organization and strategic planning process. Drawing on his 19 year career in public service, Rod Love Consulting Inc. specializes in strategic planning, political and intergovernmental analysis, government relations, issues management, effective communications planning and media management. Rod Love Consulting Inc. enjoys a number of strategic alliances with related firms, and maintains extensive contacts with individuals in governments and news organizations across the country. Mr. Love attended Mount Royal College, the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary where he majored in Political Science. He is a graduate of the Banff School of Advanced Management, and studied "History, Politics and Society" at Exeter College, Oxford, England. He has been a Member of the Board of Governors of the University of Calgary, a member of the Board of Directors of the Canada West Foundation, and is a recipient of the Governor General's medal for Outstanding Community Service, awarded on the 125th anniversary of Confederation. Mr. Love lives in Calgary with his wife Charlene, and they have three children. |
